Amazon's Kindle 2


Amazon has just recently released its 2nd version of the Kindle. The Kindle is a book that can store a lot of books at once. You can also enlarger the lettering to the perfect size so your eyes can read. The Kindle 2 contains faster page turns, better enclosure, better web experience, and also 7x the memory!

Joke Goes Wrong


Actor Warren Gillette played Jason Voorhees in the classic film Friday the 13th. In celebration to the release of the new film, he decided to dress up as Jason and scare a few people. The trick went wrong and a women wrestled him to the ground and cut off his hand with an axe. Blood splattered everywhere and he was rushed to the hospital.

Yelp.com is a website where people go to write reviews about resturants they have been to. They have been excused of extorting resturants, saying that you can get bad reviews off of the top of their page. Resturants are willing to pay $300 a month for any bad review to be removed off of Yelp's front page.

During a professional basketball game, Milwaukee Bucks player Charlie Villanueva posted a tweet during a home game against the Boston Celtics. The post says, "In da locker room, snuck to post my twitt. We're playing the Celtics, tie ball game at da half. Coach wants more toughness. I gotta step up." The coach has now banned "twitting" during games. Hahaha this is ridiculous

Women Sues Yahoo


A women by the name of Beverly Stayart has sued Yahoo just because of the search results that come up when she searches her name. When she types her own name into Yahoo she gets several websites that are linked to porn or malicious code. Who cares, do you know how many people in the world probably share the same name? Complete waist of money. She says she's the only Beverly Stayart on the internet. Pretty hard to believe.

Google Lawsuit


A couple sued Google for the street view of their "private" home in Pennsylvania. Google had taken pictures of a house on a private street. Google is legally allowed to photograph private roads because thanks to satellites and imagery there is no such thing as true privacy anymore. Google won the case. Now the couple has more attention on them then they ever did before the lawsuit. If you are planning on suing Google, it's not worth it you are going to loose.

A man recently saw a football game that cost him $28,000! He watched a football game on his phone to pass time by and AT&T sent him a $28,000 bill. They charged him for international roaming rates when he was still technically in the US. Once word got out to the newspaper they lowered the bill to under $300. What a relief for that guy.

The famous guitar-hero styled game called Rock Band has just released information about a new upcoming game which will be all about the Beatles. The game will come out later this year in September. Along with the Beatles game play comes the Beatles instruments. There will also be special customized instruments that are take-offs on the real instruments used by Ringo, Paul, John, and George.

Blackberry has now release new applications that you can buy (kind of like the I Phone). They are available for $2.99 an application. The I Phone's apps. are available for 99 cents each. This may be a factor for Blackberry, not many people may buy them, but we will see.

In 2000, Lars Ulrich, Metallica's drummer, was against Napster's file-sharing. He went against his own beliefs and went ahead and illegally downloaded Metallica's album "Death Magnetic". Lars said, "I figured if anybody has a right to download Death Magnetic for free, it's me." Hypocrite?

Samuel L. Jackon is Nick Fury


Samuel L. Jackson has agreed with Marvel Comics to play Nick Fury in the upcoming films, Ironman 2 and The Avengers. Samuel L. Jackson had a cameo at the end of Ironman where he asks Tony Stark to join his group of the Avengers.
